can't be on twitter right now because of how fucking bitter everyone is, especially about warren voters. look, i hate them as much as the next person, but the reality of it is that based on the numbers seen in a variety of places and exit polling, many warren voters wouldn't have backed bernie even if she had dropped out, and in a lot of places it might not have been enough if she had. would it have been closer? yes. would it have clinched the nom for bernie? no.

everyone on birdsite seems to be on the fucking "warren stole the nomination from bernie" train. i don't buy it, personally, from my reading of the polls and the voting numbers. at best, it woudl have been tighter. even then, you could make the same argument about bloomberg and biden, and I'd argue more convincingly--that people voting for bloomberg would have split for biden without him in the race.

now, i will say this: if warren doesn't drop out after finishing THIRD in her home state... that's just fucking dumb
not that i give a fuck. she's almost as unprincipled as the core centrist bloc that dropped out before super tuesday. who cares.
i think that at this point (and leading up to super tuesday, as well) all she's done is weaken her political brand.

anyways, i need to stop talking. this is enough electoralism for me for a fucking while. not that i wont' pull the trigger for whoever ends up with the nomination in november as a harm reduction thing, but. just goes to drive home the point that the outreach is what needs to be done. people need to learn that even bernie's fucking democratic-socialist ideas are the bare fucking minimum we should accept
